OEM Training: Jaguar Training
I-CAR is pleased to announce that Jaguar Cars now incorporates I-CAR Live instructed training programs into its collision repair technician program through the Jaguar Authorized Aluminum Repair Network.
As I-CAR students, all Jaguar Aluminum Repair Network repair technicians will need to complete their training by attending I-CAR collision repair programs utilizing the existing I-CAR class delivery system and instructors.
The following I-CAR training programs are required of all Jaguar Aluminum Repair Network Structural and Non-Structural repair technicians for Jaguar certification or re-certification (The programs below are waived for re-certification EXCEPT for technicians who certified on or after November 18, 2005):
Non-Structural Training
Structural Training
All new Jaguar Aluminum Repair Network Structural and Non-Structural technicians must complete all required I-CAR training programs.
Jaguar Aluminum Welding Certification (New Structural Certifications Only)
IMPORTANT
- If a Jaguar certified technician has already completed one or all of the above courses, he/she will not have to repeat it. Transcripts are available online at the I-CAR web site.
- The required Structural courses are only for currently Jaguar certified structural technicians, or for technicians that the Jaguar Aluminum Network has confirmed registration to the XJ/XK Structural certification course at I-CAR.
- Taking the required Structural courses will not automatically qualify a non-structural technician to be a Structural technician.
- Taking the required Structural courses without a Jaguar Aluminum Network confirmation will not guarantee registration/attendance to the Jaguar XJ/XK Structural certification course.
- Taking the required Non-Structural courses will not automatically qualify a non-certified technician to be a Jaguar Authorized Non-Structural Technician. There is an additional assessment administered by the Jaguar Aluminum Network that the technician must complete.
