Module 1 – Stability Control and Automatic Braking Systems
This module provides an overview of the course objectives and identifies several types of advanced safety systems available on today’s vehicles. Information is offered that describes electronic stability control systems, rollover protection, hill start assist, as well as other safety systems.
Module 2 – Driving Assist Safety Systems
The course continues with a look at systems such as blind spot detection, parking assist, cross-traffic alert, and includes video demonstrations of these systems.
Module 3 – Vision Assist and Advanced Restraint Systems
In the third module of the course the student will learn about lighting systems designed to provide improved vision assistance, as well as advancements in passive restraint systems.
